Who are the Scouts?

We are a family and community centered program for boys in the first through fifth grade. Cub Scouting’s emphasis is providing a quality program at the local level where boys can learn to develop leadership skills. Fourth and fifth grade boys are called Webelos (WE‘ll BE LOyal Scouts) and participate in more advanced activities that begin to prepare them to become Boy Scouts.

The Scout’s Mission Statement:

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
